No Pre-Fishing Rule

There shall be no pre-fishing or any kind of hired service fishing for you from Monday prior to the tournament until blast-off.

Blast-off

You will receive a blastoff number when you sign up. We will do reverse Blast-off throughout the season, (1-50, 50-1, etc.). When your blast-off number is called you will idle by with your live well lids open.

Point System

The point system is determined by where you finish in each event.
1st place 100pts
2nd place 99pts
3rd place 98pts, etc.
The minimum amount of points will vary on the 1st tournament.

Classic
and
Qualification

There are two criteria to qualify for The Classic:
1. You must pay for all 6 tournaments.
2. You must make the top 25 in points.

The Classic is our top-paying event of the year. There is a $60.00 entry fee which helps pay for the two Big Fish pots; any excess goes to The Classic fund to be paid out. Our sponsors fund Classic payouts. You will get one day to practice (Friday), Saturday and Sunday to compete. You must be alone in the boat at all times.

Due to previous year’s votes, The Classic location will no longer be voted on by the anglers. The lake will be chosen by the director.

Wild Card

To qualify for the wild card you must fish or pay for all six tournaments. If drawn you automatically go to The Classic. This is only for eligible anglers who do not qualify in points. There will be one wild card drawn at the end of the season.

Disqualifications
for the Season

If you miss more than 2 tournaments in a row without paying an entry fee you are disqualified for the season. This is to keep it fair for the ones who fish all events. Any angler that causes a disturbance within the club or at a tournament can be ejected for the season or banned from the club. During the season or off-season. (Will be determined by tournament director).

Classic Champion

This is the super bowl of the club. This honor comes with a plaque, a CCBA jacket, and an automatic entry to the next Classic as long as the 6 tournaments are paid.

Angler of the Year

The Angler of the Year award goes to the angler who is the most consistent throughout the season. He is also the one who finishes the year with the most overall points. The winner of this award receives free entry fees for the following year.

Rookie of the Year

This must be your first year to fish Cedar City to be eligible. The winner will be the rookie with the most overall points at the end of the year.

Young Gun Award

This award goes to the highest point finisher who is under the age of 22.

Old Timer Award

This award goes to the highest point finisher who is over the age of 55.
